WizzaFest started in 2005 as a party to send me on my travels
to ‘stralia and to celebrate Charlie & Kev’s birthdays. A great
time was had
by all,
an amazing amount of tents were pitched in Charlie & Kev’s back
garden!, the bands played into the night and Timmy’s hog roast and BBQ
brekky kept us all nourished. See photos.
WizzaFest 2006 held a different meaning for us. Not
long after WizzaFest2005 dad discovered he had a tumour and was due
to have it removed in January. Unfortunately, during the operation it
was discovered that the cancer had spread and it was
inoperable.
Dad passed onto spirit on the 22nd May 2006 after spending some quality
time at the Rowans Hospice
in Portsmouth. His passion for WizzaFest
was immense – the Wilcock Fest! And did you know that Z’s are the cheapest
letter of the alphabet to have put on your car registration plate? He
was especially excited about that bit! So… this one’s for you dad. see
2006 photos

WizzaFest2007
and thereon will be family festival held in memory of dad to raise money
for our chosen charity so I do hope you can join us for a fantastic
weekend and a good cause!
We are asking for a minimum donation per person which will cover costs
and all profits will be donated to a charity of our choice.

The
Present is what is
It is valuable
Even if I do not know why.
It Is already just the way it is supposed to be.
When I see the present, accept the present, and experience the present.
I am well, and I am happy
As long as I continue to stay in the present, I am happy forever. Because
forever is the present.
The present is simply who I am, just the way I am…right now
And it is Precious.
The Precious Present, Spencer Johnson. MD
